A program designed to offer socialization opportunities to low-income seniors. While some senior adults enjoy the benefits of resort living and active lifestyles, slightly fewer than half of seniors live in poverty. The quality of life for senior adults living in poverty can be improved by reducing social isolation and improving health and nutrition.
Senior Connections is open to all senior adult residents of Casa Grande (55+), with a special focus on the needs - and wants - of low-income households. Daily programming includes a coffee hour, board games and cards, bingo, puzzles and crafts, Bible study, exercise classes, and pot luck luncheons.
